Easy Monday is Masha Makhanova:
Tattoo Artist and Designer in Belgium
My journey to tattooing wasn’t a straight line, but every step led me here. After years of working as a graphic and visual designer and illustrator —and with a background in both World Culture and History and Graphic Design — I decided to follow my long-time passion for tattoos.
For me, tattooing feels like the natural evolution of my artistic practice. It’s a way to create meaningful, lasting talismans that people carry with them — a fusion of art and personal storytelling. Tattoos are powerful symbols of self-expression, deeply tied to human culture, which I’ve always found fascinating. Every piece I create is a collaboration, a way to celebrate individuality and honour the stories we wear on our bodies. I feel so grateful for the chance to bring my artwork to life on skin—it’s truly an honour.
My style is shaped by my love of flora and fauna, history, folklore, fantasy, pop culture, and video games. Whether it’s a botanical design, a whimsical creature, or something inspired by folklore, I love creating art that feels personal and unique to each client.

So why Easy Monday?
Well, like most people, I used to dread Mondays. One day, I decided to flip the script. Instead of starting the week with stress and anxiety, I’d embrace Monday with love and make it my favorite day. I wanted to set the tone for positivity, creativity, and good vibes—not just on Mondays but in life as a whole. That mindset stuck, and “Easy Monday” became my mantra: an approach to life, art, and everything in between.
